Well it didn’t quite go as planned… I ended up with a 9th place which obviously wasn’t my goal but it could have been worse! I did learn a lot and had one super fun heat with Dylan Lightfoot. Dylan is an amazing surfer and it was such a pleasure to have such a battle with him. I needed a 9.1 in the last minute and surfed this wave below and got a 9.57. This moment was pretty much the whole reason why I compete. I’ve never been this fired up in my life haha. Please excuse my completely roid rage claim 🙂
