We surfed the first day if the prime event over here in cascais. It was pretty solid storm surf but some really shreddable corners. Chunky onshore style. Super fun waves for a heat because everyone was pretty muh surfing their own peak and there was no hassling. Round two will be on tomorrow in similar conditions! Woohooo!
Over here in Portugal filming for a little piece for monster children and also competing in a prime event which should be starting tomorrow. Amazing coast line here and some rad culture. Been having a great trip so far and looking forward to the event! Yehawwww!
Well, the premiers are over, the video is online, the dust is beginning to settled, but we are stoked, and we hope you are stoked. We had an amazing time both Friday night and Saturday night and we thank everyone who rallied out to see the movie and partake in the fun. We would once again like to thank everyone who supported the premiers Hurley, Volcom, Monster, Reef, Etnies, Oakley, Arnette, Mophie, Channel Islands, Mophie, Nixon, Sexwax, and Fender. They all provided us with the goodies that we got to give to you guys. AND a huge thank you to Pleasure the band for playing Costa Mesa and Donnie Hedden/Travers Adler for providing music for Santa Barbara. The best part about what we get to do is sharing it will you guys and seeing the smiles on all of the kids’ faces when they come and hang at the premiers. So, we thank you. Unfortunately we didn’t have anyone shooting photos at either premier (a big mistake in hindsight), but here are a few Iphone photos in an attempt to capture that level of stoke. There will be more of these so if you missed this one you’ll just have to wait for the next movie!!!

Been having an amazing few days in Portugal filled with lots of coffee, croissants, and really fun waves. I’m over here on a surfing magazine trip with Griffin Colapinto and Nic Von Rupp but Brendan Gibbens is on his way to come hang. Europe is amazing and is always a great time apart from the amazing waves that are here. There is so much culture that run through these streets its a really fun area to be in. Nic is from right here in portugal so its been super rad having him taking us around showing us the spots. I’ll try my best to keep the blog posted but internet is pretty spotty. Conner is coming over today also to compete in the prime event down the coast in a few days so hopefully we can meet up! This sunset is the other night after scoring some really fun beachbreak surfs.
