The Tails

Loopyness

Conner

I was digging through our vimeo archives and I came across this video. Three years ago I had an impacted canine tooth removed from the roof of my mouth. They put me out and apparently used some good stuff to do it with. Parker proceeded to film the aftermath and got quite a kick out of it. Enjoy.

Spray of the Day!

Conner

I was feeling somewhat inspired the other day and took the afternoon to paint two fresh boards. I was quite pleased with the turn out! yehhawwww. Get some paint and go to town on your next board! We especially dig the Montana Gold spray paint…

Goofy Foot Power Psyche

Parker

Just hanging out at home doing some of my last little bit of schoolwork for the year and started thinking about surfing… Next thing you know I’m watching old videos of Occy rip the lip off of poor waves heads. When boredom strikes, give yourself a little Goofy Foot Power Psyche and get motivated to destroy lips like Occy. This is my favorite Occy clip because it just shows how well rounded his career has been. Occy at J-Bay is pretty much unbelievable… Do yourself a favor and watch the below video. YouTube Preview Image

Tail of the Week Contest!!!!

Conner

Be our tail of the week!!!!!

Today is Monday and Monday is usually a good day to post a new Tail of the Week. But, this week we thought we might do things a little bit differently. We want you girls out there to send us submissions for tail of the week so that we can make you our girl for the week, or maybe two weeks or maybe even month. haha. Please make the photos be of you and not some internet fantasy girl (it would probably help if you were wearing one of our t-shirts… hahah).

Email your photos to youngwisetails@yahoo.com and we’ll pick the winner in two weeks (May 28th). For now, one photo for kicks.

The Stones Concert

Conner

On May 3rd we went and saw the Rolling Stones at the Staples center. It was such an incredible show that we were all left pretty much lost for words when people asked us how it was. The best explanation I could give was that it was nearly life changing and definitely one of the coolest things i’ve ever been to. They may be 70, but they are still rockin harder than any band out there. They perform so well and it is so rad getting to see them interact with one another on stage. We had an amazing night and have been buzzing ever since. Such a rad experience. If you have the opportunity to see them, it is worth every penny. Here are a few photos and a video of them performing Jumpin jack flash back in the 70’s (my personal favorite).
