Remember that weird looking hunk of shaped foam that I posted a photo of a while back? Well I took that crude looking thing into the Channel Islands surfboard factory and had them glass it. I couldn’t decide whether to put 1 2 3 4 or 5 fins on it so I thought I’dd just keep it simple and put 1. I asked for a red resin tint that turned out slightly pink. I don’t mean that in a negative way because I actually dig the way this board looks. I will hopefully have some proof of riding it shortly….
Is a good dude. He also just so happens to be an incredibly creative dude with a unique perspective on life. And a humble one at that. His creativity is very evident in his photography (lots of which is of very pretty women. yes we are a bit envious…) and directing skills. I’ve had the pleasure of hanging out with him a bit. He has some dam good stories about hanging out with some people that we would all love to hang out with. Anyways, he has been piecing together a new website and it is filled with rad photography and some outtakes and trailers of film projects he has done. The Ozzy Osbourne outtakes are a must see. This film inspired the modern form of surfing… Punk rock, amazing surfing, classic characters, and of course some amazing camel toe shots are what makes this surf movie an eternal figure in the surf world. Well… I’m definitely not the most artistically talented man in the world, but I do enjoy picking up some paint and a canvass to do some doodling. Yesterday, I found this canvass and just randomly came up with this idea in my head. i think the most amazing part about doing art is that it can be so sporadic. Check it out!
