Raimana Van-bastolaer. He’s the mayor of Tahiti. He runs Teahupoo. He tows into the craziest waves ever. His first wave that he EVER stood up on was a 2 page spread in a magazine. He has stories and advice for days coming from a unique outlook on life.
Parker and I, much thanks to Reef, had the opportunity to hang out with and surf with Raimana last week in Tahiti. His family shared their home with us and Raimana took us surfing every day. He taught us a lot about Tahiti and also life. He stepped us off into waves and laughed all day with us. The water is perfectly clear, barrels are abundant, and the people are really nice. We love Tahiti.
