We woke up at 7 to watch Parker surf in the final of the Barbados pro junior today. It was classic because he started out the heat with a full shocker. He was out of position, ate crap on a wave, and was just out of rhythm. He hit the reset button and with 10 minutes to go he blasted a set wave for a 9.33. Then paddling back out he nailed a 5 to get himself into first place. It was so rad! Parker’s bachand was looking so spicy (I think he has one of the best backands in the business)… He held his composure and took his first win in a while. As he will say, he’s been in a bit of a competitive slump lately, so i couldn’t be more proud of him for taking down this win and getting back on the roll that i know him to be on!!! Looking forward to a good run for Parker! YEWWWW!
