Hawaii Pleasure

Conner

Hawaii is a magical place. We hold a very special place for it in our hearts and we spend as much time as we can over there every year. This year was one of our most memorable years and we all got super fired up to work on this short film project about our time in Hawaii. This is all filmed and edited by Ryan Perry. The music is from one of our favorite bands/local band “Pleasure.” This is pretty much what we listen to in Hawaii to get psyched up for every surf session so we thought it would be fun to cut in some footage of them jamming live. Link to their bandcamp page pleasureus.bandcamp.com/album/for-your-listening-ep. Grab a coffee, soda, or beverage of choice, enjoy Hawaii Pleasure, and get fired up! YEEEEOWWWWW——-

Etnies Scout

Conner

Etnies is a rad brand. Perhaps more importantly, it’s a brand that is comprised of awesome people. This includes the people that work there as well as the team. Parker and I are fortunate enough to be a part of the Etnies family along with Mason Ho, Matt Wilkonson, Pat Schmidt, and Benji Weatherly. This year we all got to hang out on the North Shore and work on a new sandal. Here’s a little video that came out of it….

Pacific HaZe

Pacific Haze is a newly formed band from carp who has a killer sound and a rad grass roots DIY approach… They recently just released an EP titled “Medium Times” which is available for download through their website http://pacifichaze.com/

They also started an Indiegogo campaign to gather some funds to record their next EP as well as support their summer tour. Check out their music and if you’re feeling it, support an epic up and coming local band! YEOOWWW! For Indiegogo link click HERE

Glide

Conner

There’s something incredibly fun about hopping on a long board and just gliding across some little point break ropers. It’s so simple yet so satisfying. I spent most of my surfing youth, until about age 8 or 9 riding, a long board for the majority of sessions. A while back we had a really solid flat spell around Santa Barbara and I got totally hooked on heading down to Rincon with the 9’6″ and sharing waves with some good friends. Even though it was only knee-waist high we were having a blast. It’s been flat the last few days which has led to me actually cleaning my room… I stumbled across these prints that Donnie Hedden snapped at Rincon during those sessions. Donnie is an awesome photographer and an even better human. Here’s to keeping it simple.
