Bella Vita is a beautiful film that our uncle Jason Baffa created based around the surf culture of Italy. Chris Del Moro takes the viewer on an epic journey through Italy in search of family, friendship, food, wine, and heart. We were lucky enough to be a part of the journey and the movie. The memories and friendships that we created will never be forgotten. If you haven’t had a chance to see the movie it’s now available on vimeo and on netflix! Best viewed with family over a pasta dinner and a bottle of Zio Baffa wine. Enjoy!

Albee Layer and a bunch of the Maui boys and girls were in Tavarua during an epic run of waves in July. I had just lost in Balito, and decided to buy myself a birthday present plane ticket to go score fun waves for a week. It was great to stay on Tavarua with all of the Fijian family and have the chance to hang and surf with Albee and his friends. They were a great time and all surfing super well! They put this edit together from the trip. Some really amazing shots in here!
Here it is! Video evidence that we had an insanely epic weekend hanging with all the kids and families!!!! Thanks to Perry for capturing the action.
It’s in the books! The first official “Coffin Brothers Surf Out” was held this weekend in amazing weather and super fun waves. We couldn’t have been luckier with the day that we scored. Sheet glass, 75 degrees, and perfect waist to shoulder high waves. Families came from San Clemente to Santa Cruz and everywhere in between to camp and hang out at Jalama campgrounds and participate in all of the fun. It was so amazing to see how stoked all of the kids were and also how hard they were ripping!!! Parker and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the turnout of the weekend and I couldn’t wipe the grin from my face while watching all of the kids rip and roll around and the sand. Huge thank you to Chris Keet and the Surfhappens Foundation for making this event possible, all of the amazing kids and families who made it an unforgettable weekend, and the sponsors support and epic “shwag!” We are already excited for next year!!!!!
